Mr. Gardenswartz is a founding partner of Sage. Prior to the formation of Sage, he was a Vice President of ING Barings in its Investment Banking Group in Los Angeles, where he executed merger and acquisition transactions and private placements of debt and equity in various industries. Prior to joining ING Barings, he worked with the Global Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Citigroup in New York. While at Citigroup, Mr. Gardenswartz was involved in a range of advisory assignments, principally in the telecommunications, chemical and pharmaceutical, automotive, and branded consumer products industries. Mr. Gardenswartz received a B.S. degree in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as a board member of Altra, Inc., Corral West Ranchwear, Inc. and LA Spas, Inc.
